Capay Valley Lavender is Yolo County’s premier destination for organic lavender. Gorgeous plants paint the fields with diverse purple hues and enable the farm to create aromatic lavender products to delight the senses, support health, and freshen the home. In June the lavender will be in full bloom. We will take a short guided walking tour of the farm and distillery and enjoy panoramic views. You can purchase lavender items in the farm store and cut your own bouquet in the fields for $12.50. After our farm visit, we will stop at the nearby Cache Creek Casino, where you can purchase lunch on your own and have free time to try your luck. Walkers cannot be accommodated due to gravel walkways at the farm. Be aware that bees frequent the fields.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Depart 8:40 a.m. from Davis Target and 9 a.m. from University Retirement Community (URC). Return to URC at approximately 3:15 and to Target at approximately 3:30 p.m.
