“WICKED” tells the untold story of the witches of Oz. Long before Dorothy arrived, there was a young woman with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to call one “good,” and the other one “wicked.” It is a wildly inventive story that TIME Magazine calls “a magical Broadway musical with brains, heart and courage.” We will be seated in the center orchestra section of the Orpheum Theater. Lunch will be at Max’s Opera Café before the show.
Depart 8:30 a.m. from Davis Target and 8:50 a.m. from University Retirement Community. Return in reverse approximately 5:45 and 6 p.m.
