In recognition of our 40th anniversary, we are offering a sweet trip to the Jelly Belly Factory for just $40 per person. Take a self-guided tour at your own pace on elevated corridors for a bird's-eye view of jelly bean, taffy, and chocolate production. Along the tour route, discover interactive stations and videos illustrating the candy-making process. After the tour, you can visit the nearby museum for a whimsical, interactive experience. We will have time to shop in the large factory store for a variety of candies, including the popular “Belly Flops” (imperfect jelly beans sold at a discount). Purchase lunch on your own at the Jelly Belly Café or bring your own lunch to eat in the cafe. We will end this fun day with an included scoop of ice cream at the cafe.
Depart 9:30 a.m. from Davis Target and 9:50 a.m. from the University Retirement Community. Return in reverse at approximately 3:15 and 3:30 p.m.
